100% beeswax bar. Made from wax processed from our own hives here in Connemara. We've added nothing extra to these bars of natural beeswax & they still retain the scent of honey.
We melt the wax and pour it into molds which when hardened create a bar of beeswax varying in weight from 30g to 37g.
Beeswax is made by honey bees mostly in the spring and summer. Young worker bees secrete tiny wax sheets from 8 special wax glands on their abdomen. This wax is used by the bees to build hexagonal cells to store their honey & pollen and for the queen to lay her eggs.
