A blend of bramley apples and sloe berries.
Sloe berries are blue/purple drupes that grow on blackthorn trees.
When raw, sloes are incredibly astringent and make your mouth pucker up. However when cooked and mixed with bramley apples you are left with this delicious sweet & tart tasting jam.
Delicious on toast or scones, added to yoghurt & porridge or as a topping on cheesecake.
